Levitt VIBE Buffalo Music Series: Lynn Drury and Jony James Blues Band

August 3 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Lynn Drury brings her signature “NOLAmericana” sound to Ralph Wilson Park – a soulful blend of country, folk, and New Orleans rhythm and groove. A Mississippi native, Drury found her home in New Orleans and never looked back, winning the Offbeat Award for Best Country Singer/Songwriter and earning a devoted following with fan favorites like “Sugar on the Floor” and “Dancin’ in the Kitchen.”

Sharing the bill is Buffalo’s own Jony James, a blues guitarist whose sound was forged in Chicago – playing alongside legends Eddie Taylor and J.B. Hutto – and shaped by the masters: Albert King, Otis Rush, Buddy Guy, and B.B. King. Distinctive, exciting, and deeply intelligent, Jony’s blues are entirely his own.

Admission is free. Arrive early to grab a bite from on-site food trucks or bring a picnic and find your spot on the lawn. Portable restrooms are available on-site. Street parking is available in the surrounding area, and the venue is wheelchair accessible.

This concert is presented by The Big Easy in Buffalo.
