Skate
When the Skate Plaza opened in 2010, it was the only skate park in Buffalo. With its unique waterfront setting, it has received national attention and attracted world-ranked professional skaters. It attracts users of all ages and skill levels from across the region, making it an irreplaceable asset that will continue to grow in popularity. The final skate park renovations were completed in 2022, making this the destination skate park for the region.
The Skate Plaza is open when the park is open, from dawn until dusk.
Impact During Construction
The Skate Park renovations are complete. It will remain open during construction. Construction on the skate park took place over a number of years, with many partners integral to its success, including Sunday Skateshop.
