Buffalo winters are made for adventure, and we’re celebrating everything that makes this season special at Ralph Wilson Park! Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of fun, community, and outdoor activities – all FREE and open to the public!
What’s Happening:
- Snowshoeing*: Strap on a pair of snowshoes and explore the winter wonderland at your own pace. A great way to get outdoors, enjoy the fresh air, and experience Buffalo’s winter beauty.
- Snow Fort Building*: Unleash your inner architect and build an epic snow fort with family and friends! Whether you’re making a simple fortress or a snow palace, it’s all about creativity and fun.
- Sledding*: Race down the hills with your friends and family (weather permitting). Grab your sled and enjoy the rush of winter fun – the slopes are calling!
- Nature & active activities for all ages: Our wonderful partners will be hosting activities for all ages! Build a birdhouse, learn more about the plants & nature in the park, play sports, and more!
- Great Music by DJ Daren (Doc) Thomas: Feel the beat with live music that’ll keep your spirits high all afternoon long. Let the sounds of winter tunes make the day even more festive!
- Hot Cocoa & Warming Station: After you’ve had your fill of fun, warm up with some delicious hot cocoa and hang out by our cozy warming station. It’s the perfect way to recharge and keep the winter chill at bay.
This is a celebration of all things winter in Buffalo, so bring your friends, family, and neighbors to enjoy the best of what our city has to offer during this magical season!
