It’s Our Year, Buffalo!

This is our year! The Bills are in the playoffs, the city is electric, and as we start 2026, Buffalo’s momentum has never felt stronger. Our January newsletter is out!

Here at Ralph Wilson Park, we’re stepping into a season of celebration, growth, and bold ideas coming to life. From continuing to watch the park transform, to Foolish Club fun and new opportunities to join our team, to big conversations about Buffalo’s future as a year-round city, there is so much happening now and even more just around the corner.

We’re so grateful to all of you for your continued engagement, energy, and belief in what this park can be. Your support is what makes all of this possible, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to the waterfront soon. Dive in below, and stay tuned for so much more. This is just the beginning.

Cheers to Being Foolish!

Our first-ever Foolish Club holiday bash was a blast! The faithful Foolish of all ages joined us to kick-off the holidays, with food, drinks and fun.

Thank you to our partners at Britesmith Brewing for hosting another incredible Foolish Club gathering, to everyone who showed up, to The Cider Project for donating a key of cider, and to the Sabres for getting a W in overtime that night.

We are currently finalizing our calendar for 2026. Stay tuned for more events soon! Not a Foolish Club member yet? Join today

Is Buffalo A Winter City?

We know Buffalo is a city that experiences a distinct winter season…but is Buffalo a true Winter City? Around the world, places that experience more extreme winter weather are leaning into the season. A city that thrives rather than survives winter requires intentionality.  Environments built with winter in mind, bold seasonal branding, and community connections all year long help Winter Cities make their darkest days some of the best.

Read more about Buffalo’s journey to become a true Winter City, and how our park will help, at the Heritage Engagement Project.
