Centennial Pool at Ralph Wilson Park is the most widely used public pool in Buffalo, attracting hundreds of swimmers on summer days. Reconstructed in 2010, Centennial accounts for 25 percent of all public pool usage in Buffalo.
Impact During Construction
The splash pad and pool will not be impacted by the first phase of construction. The bathrooms in the pool shelter will be available when the pool and splash pad are open, and the two picnic shelters in this area are available to rent through the City of Buffalo’s website.
The large splash pad and Centennial Pool at the entrance of the park provide a cool respite for children, families, and adults during the Buffalo summer. Both amenities are run by the City of Buffalo Division of Parks and Recreation.
