Access to the park is limited during construction. During construction, the park is only accessible via the Porter entrance. Visitors can arrive by bike, foot, or car to access the pool, splash pad, skate park, and football fields. The temporary dog park is located across the 190 at the 4th Street Park.

NFTA
There are six NFTA bus lines with stops within a 10 minute walk from the park entrances. Bus #22, #5, & #3 all have stops less than a mile from the park.
On Foot & Bike
TheĀ Empire State Trail, the 750-mile train connecting bicyclists and hikers across New York State, runs through the park, providing access from Buffalo Harbor State Park through Tonawanda, and across the New York State. The trail through the park is currently CLOSED. Please see the recommended detour route here.
The new pedestrian bridge will increase neighborhood access. The first phase of park construction includes a new pedestrian bridge connecting the park to the neighborhood east of the 190.
