What a day at Ralph Wilson Park! More than 1,000 people joined us on Sunday, July 6th for our free, family-friendly Summer Splash—a joyful afternoon of hot dogs, ice cream, music, and fun at the splash pad and pool. Huge thanks to Wegmans, Councilmembers Rivera & Nowakowski, Sahlens, the City of Buffalo, and our many partners for making it happen.
Representatives from the Tool Library, Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy, West Side Community Services, Grassroots Gardens, and the NYS DEC were on hand to share community information and activities with the attendees. There was Zumba, ice cream, and hot dogs for everyone! Plus – the foam party, splash pad and pool were keeping everyone cool.
Check out our pictures from the event here. Major news stations also came out to cover the event—WGRZ, WKBW, WIVB and Spectrum.
