THIS WAS BIG! We spent this summer & fall celebrating the journey, arrival, and installation of the Ralph Wilson Park Bridge.
- We hosted a community celebration for the latest park milestone – the bridge installation! – on Monday, October 7th – check out our pictures from the event!
- We also hosted two events celebrating the park’s progress and share what else is happening in October – an Art of Architecture panel on October 19th and the Buffalo AKG M&T First Fridays on October 4th!
- Check out all the coverage from national and local media outlets that the Ralph Wilson Park Bridge has received (so far!).
- National monthly publication Architectural Record covered about the bridge’s design, journey, and arrival in Buffalo.
- Ralph Wilson Park Bridge traveled down the Erie Canal from Albany to Buffalo in July 2024. These were some of the best places to view the bridge. Thousands of New Yorkers came out to see it! Here’s the map of the bridge travel from Italy to Buffalo.
- We hosted community watch parties on July 16th to celebrate the bridge arrival in Buffalo!
- We had our first fundraiser on July 16th – 716 Day – where people were able to see the transformed shoreline AND Buffalo’s newest signature bridge! Check out the pictures here.
